One preliminary winner (Participant) will be drawn at 10:00 AM AEST on 8 May 2020 who will then be asked to participate in the second round (Game).
On the 22 May 2020 at 3:00PM AEST, there will be a hundred (100) paintbrushes and envelopes on display at the start of the Game, numbered from one (1) to a hundred (100). One (1) will contain $1million symbol, and the remaining ninety-nine (99) will contain $10,000 symbols.
Prior to the Game, an independent scrutineer will randomly insert into one (1) of the hundred (100) numbered envelopes and paintbrushes the Winning Symbol of $1million which must be located, in order to win that prize.
Prior to the Game, an independent scrutineer will randomly insert into ninety-nine (99) of the hundred (100) numbered envelopes and paintbrushes the Winning Symbol of $10,000 which must be located, in order to win that prize.
The Participant will be required to advise the Promoter of one (1) number. An independent representative of the Promoter will then select and open the one (1) nominated envelope and paintbrush. If there is any dispute as to the one (1) number selected by the Participant, the Promoter’s decision in this regard will be final. If the Participant is found to have breached any conditions for playing the Game or participating in this Promotion, he/she (and/or the person he/she is playing on behalf of) may be disqualified by the Promoter.
If the Participant selects the (1) envelope and paintbrush containing the $1million symbol, then the drawn Finalist (the Participant) will win AUD$1,000,0000 (“Major Prize”), subject to verification by the Independent Scrutineer and Loss Adjustor.
If the Participant selects one (1) envelope and paintbrush containing a $10,000 symbol, then the drawn Finalist (the Participant) will win AUD$10,000 (“Minor Prize”), subject to verification by the Independent Scrutineer and Loss Adjustor.
A Loss Adjustor will be present at the Game to ensure the Game is conducted as per these Terms and Conditions.
Once a Prize is selected, the Independent Scrutineer removes all envelopes and paintbrushes and takes them back for validation of the prize claim.
The Independent Scrutineer then opens the envelopes and paintbrushes to show the Participant and guests that the AUD$1,000,000 was available to be won, and that the mechanic is fair and secure.
Only one (1) prize of either the Major Prize or Minor Prize will be awarded to the Participant, depending on their result in the Game. If, for example, a winner wins the Minor Prize in the Game, then the Major Prize will NOT be awarded.
The drawn Participant’s odds of winning the $1,000,000 prize are 1 in 100. The drawn Participant’s odds of winning the $10,000 prize are 99 in 100. The odds of being drawn as a Participant may be significantly higher than the odds of the drawn Participant winning the Major Prize and will depend upon the number of entries received.
