Sealants, Adhesives & Fillers

Sealants, Adhesives & Fillers - FAQ

Why should I use Monarch sealants, adhesives and fillers?

Monarch Mini is a unique range of sealants, adhesives and fillers. These products make applying adhesives and sealants much simpler than using traditional caulking products.

This is because all of our Monarch Mini products are designed with a unique, compact cartridge – ideal for smaller projects and reducing excess product waste.

What are sealants and where do I use them?

Prior to painting, you should always seal any gaps between walls or skirting boards.

Monarch Mini Gap Filler is an acrylic sealant available in four different colours, perfect for filling in areas where colour matching is required. Gap Filler is mould-resistant and can be used both indoors and outdoors.

If you need a solution for wet areas such as bathrooms, Monarch Mini Kitchen & Bathroom is a great choice, as it is a waterproof silicone sealant. It is available in both translucent and white.

A heavy-duty sealant is required on rougher surfaces like metal, brick, tiles and aluminium. The Monarch Mini Roof & Gutter is perfect for outdoor applications as it is UV-resistant and non-corrosive.

What are adhesives and where do I use them?

Adhesives are designed to bond materials together, such as applying a skirting board to a wall. Monarch Mini Easy Nails Construction Adhesive is a high bond strength adhesive with fast grip, suitable to use on most common building materials.

What are fillers and where do I use them?

Before beginning a painting project, it is vital that you fill in any gaps or cracks in the wall. Monarch Mini Fill Sand Go is a multipurpose filler made from a quick-dry formula.

The all-in-one product solution includes a filling blade applicator as well as a reversible sanding sponge. This allows you to fill in cracks or gaps without the hassle of requiring extra tools.
