Feeling inspired? We've put together a step-by-step guide with everything you need to know to complete your own exterior refresh.
Step 1: Prepare the surfaces you’re painting.
Ange made some minor repairs to her front pillar before she cleaned and prepared all the surfaces she was going to paint. When setting up to paint, make sure to protect the surfaces you don’t want to get paint on. Use our Hard Floor Protective Films and Leak Proof Canvas Drop Sheets to make this easy!
Step 2: Start painting!
Grab the paint you want to use and pop it into your painter’s bucket before grabbing your brushes and rollers. Ange used our Exterior & Rough Surfaces Brushes, and both sizes of our Rough & Textured Surfaces Mini Rollers. Use your brush to get into those hard-to-reach areas and go over the flat surfaces with your mini rollers to achieve a clean smooth finish.
Read about what Ange had to say about using Monarch’s mini rollers:
"The rollers are a perfect fit for the panels, ledges as well as small areas and are able to be added to the extension poles to paint a larger space."
“By using the right products, it will help you paint with ease to achieve a professional finish even for DIY skills.”
In only two days, and using the right tools, Ange has transformed her front of home exterior, and you can too!
